COMMUNITY
Participation in the Cayman Islands community is an important value of Kirk Freeport's staff and ownership. Our involvement in various Cayman events touches many residents across the islands each year. We appreciate new opportunities to be involved in the community and we carefully balance these new opportunities with ongoing commitments. As a result of a high number of requests for sponsorships we are unable to respond to or support all opportunities.
All sponsorship requests are considered using the following guidelines:
- Applications should be submitted no later than 2 months prior to the event.
- Donations are made in the form of product, store credit, or gift certificates. We do not donate cash.
- Priority is given to local organisations that stress excellence and community participation, especially where children are involved.
- We do not contribute to individuals, concerts or events where alcohol or tobacco are featured.
- We do not donate to political organisations.
